Training with a Purpose
Here’s an idea – Keep weekends for outdoor training, get some fresh air and learn something new. I’ve started including Martial Arts training for weekends along with workouts in my backyard. Will be making a homemade punching bag soon.
Short workouts, less than 30 minutes, and when workouts are short, you turn up the volume! If you’ve always wanted to dance, learn gymnastics, play soccer, CrossFit, pick one day of the week and include in your functional training and make it part of your hybrid. And keep that day for yourself where you sort of not only practice what you want to but also have a purpose, a goal for your training.
