Proximity is an Illusion
Proximity, traveling thousands of miles to meet others and living close to friends and family is an illusion. The illusion that convinces us we are close but maybe we are not. Whether you’re someone who lives 5 miles apart or 5000 miles apart, the probability of meeting and spending face to face time is about the same. With the exceptions of a few close/loved ones, most people are content with social media interaction thereby giving the perception that distance doesn’t matter. Whereas in reality, it does matter. Maybe the distance hasn’t decreased. Perhaps the distance between people living close to each other has increased.
Proximity is an illusion.
Love and Gratitude,
I write from my heart.
I'd write even if no one was reading.
